Distance and journey time from Saverne
- Saverne to central Strasbourg (Place Kléber): about 50 km, around 40 minutes by car depending on traffic.

What about the train?
Saverne is on the Paris to Strasbourg line, and the TER links the two stations in about 30 minutes according to the TER Grand Est website, with a good frequency during the day. If you travel light and your destination is near Strasbourg station, it is a good option. Timetables and regional coaches are on the Fluo Grand Est website.
The van is more useful when the train does not suit: an early-morning flight, a return after the last train, a family with a pushchair, a group of 5 to 8, lots of luggage, or a destination far from a station. It leaves from your door and drops you at the exact address.
Saverne and the surrounding area
Saverne is the gateway to the Northern Vosges, at the foot of the pass. Its Rohan Castle, a former residence of the prince-bishops of Strasbourg, stands beside the Marne-Rhine Canal and now houses a museum, according to the Town of Saverne. We pick up anywhere in town and in the neighbouring villages: Marmoutier, Otterswiller, Monswiller, Steinbourg, Dettwiller, Phalsbourg or Wasselonne.
