Europe road trips by van with an Arabic-speaking driver

Paris, then the colourful villages of Alsace, the lakes and waterfalls of the Black Forest, Europa-Park, and finally Zurich, Geneva or Lucerne: a European road trip the way families like it, without driving, without maps and without hauling suitcases from one train to the next.

Below are four sample itineraries of 3 to 7 days, stage by stage, with the approximate distance and driving time for each day. The same driver stays with you in a Mercedes V-Class van for up to 8 passengers and 8 suitcases, and our drivers speak Arabic, French and English. These are only examples: we adapt the route, the length and the stops to you.

The price of a full road trip is on quote, as it depends on the route and the number of days. For simple transfers from Strasbourg, the calculator below shows the price straight away.

Before you choose an itinerary

  • Distances and times are road figures without traffic or stops. Allow extra time for breaks, prayers, meals and border crossings.
  • Most driving days are short: one to two hours, except the drive to or from Paris (about 5 hours) and Colmar to Geneva (about 3 hours 40 minutes).
  • Switzerland is the start or the end of these itineraries. Journeys entirely within Switzerland (from one Swiss city to another) are on request, subject to Swiss regulations.
  • Stages between two places in Germany (such as Europa-Park → Triberg → Titisee, or Baden-Baden → Triberg) are on request, subject to German regulations, and are marked in the tables.
  • Entry tickets, meals and hotels are not included: you book your hotels, we take care of the road.

What to know about the stops

Europa-Park

In Rust, Germany, about 56 km from Strasbourg, it describes itself as Germany’s largest theme park. It is not open all year: in 2026 the summer season runs from 28 March to 25 September, followed by the Halloween and winter seasons, and the park is closed on 24 and 25 December. Check the dates on its website before booking. Tickets are not included in our price. Details: Europa-Park transfer.

Triberg waterfalls

Germany’s highest waterfalls according to the town of Triberg: 163 metres over seven levels. Entry is paid and not included. In winter only the lower section is open, and paths can be icy.

Lake Titisee

A mountain lake in the southern Black Forest, at 857 metres. You can take a boat trip, rent a small boat or walk around the lake (a loop of about 7.4 km).

Baden-Baden

The spa town of the northern Black Forest, about an hour from Strasbourg. For a day trip from Strasbourg, see the Black Forest and Baden-Baden tour.

Strasbourg and Colmar

Strasbourg’s historic centre, the Grande Île, is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and most of it is best seen on foot. Colmar is known for Little Venice and its canals. Between the two lie the Wine Route villages: see the Alsace Wine Route with a private driver.

How is a road trip priced?

For a multi-day trip the price is on quote: it depends on the route, the number of days, the daily distances and the starting point (the driver comes from Strasbourg if your trip starts in Paris, Switzerland or Germany). We send a clear quote before anything is booked. Each stage can also be booked on its own as a fixed-price transfer: Strasbourg to Paris, Strasbourg to Zurich, Strasbourg to Basel.

On the road

  • Prayer stops on request: agree the times with the driver, who plans a stop at a suitable place.
  • Halal restaurant suggestions in the towns you pass through.
  • Child seats on request, and a pushchair still fits with 8 passengers.
  • Borders: bring valid passports for every passenger, with a visa if you need one. Switzerland is in the Schengen area but outside the EU, and checks may take place.
  • More than 8 people? Several vehicles, on quote.

The price is on quote, depending on the route and the number of days. Send us your dates and the places you want to visit on WhatsApp, and we send a quote before anything is booked.

Does the same driver stay for the whole trip?

Yes, that is the idea of a multi-day trip: the driver and the van are at your disposal from start to finish.

Can we change the route?

Yes. The four itineraries are examples: we add or remove stops and make the trip longer or shorter as you wish.

Are hotels and entry tickets included?

No. You book your own hotels and tickets. The price covers the van and the driver.

Those journeys are on request, subject to Swiss regulations. In our itineraries, Switzerland is the start or the end of the trip.

Can you drive us between two places in Germany, such as Europa-Park and Titisee?

Those stages are on request, subject to German regulations. We confirm what is possible when we prepare your quote.

Can the trip start in Paris?
