Alsace Wine Route hotels: private van transfers from Strasbourg and the airport

Staying at Le Chambard in Kaysersberg, at the Hôtel des Berges next to the Auberge de l’Ill, or at a hotel in Colmar or Obernai, and arriving in Strasbourg by train or plane? We drive you from the station or the airport to the hotel door, in a Mercedes V-Class van with a driver, for up to 8 passengers and 8 suitcases.

This guide lists 36 hotels on and around the Alsace Wine Route, with the distance and the starting price from Strasbourg train station and from Strasbourg-Entzheim airport. Prices are fixed, for the whole vehicle, and confirmed before you travel.

How to read the tables

• The “from” price is what our price calculator shows for a van in the daytime (7 am to 7 pm, Monday to Saturday), for the whole vehicle, rounded down to the nearest €5. It does not depend on the number of passengers: 2 or 8 people pay the same.
• In the evening, at night (7 pm to 7 am) and on Sundays, the rate per kilometre goes up from €2.50 to €3, so the price is higher. The calculator shows it for your arrival time.
• Distances and driving times are road calculations (OSRM) without traffic. Allow more time at rush hour around Strasbourg.
• The category comes from the official French hotel classification (Atout France) and, for restaurants, from the Michelin Guide, both checked in October 2026. These can change: please check with the hotel.

Marlenheim, Molsheim, Obernai and Ottrott

The northern end of the Wine Route starts about twenty minutes from Strasbourg. Obernai is the first major stop; Ottrott sits at the foot of Mont Sainte-Odile.

Barr, Itterswiller, Sélestat and Haut-Koenigsbourg

Further south, the road runs through the wine villages of the Bas-Rhin to the foot of Haut-Koenigsbourg castle.

Ribeauvillé, Illhaeusern, Bergheim and Riquewihr

The heart of the Wine Route, less than an hour from Strasbourg. Illhaeusern is not on the wine road itself but in the plain, a few minutes from Ribeauvillé.

Kaysersberg, Kientzheim and Turckheim

Kaysersberg is about 80 km from Strasbourg station, a little over an hour’s drive.

Example: Strasbourg to Le Chambard. You arrive at Strasbourg station by TGV on a Friday at 3 pm, four of you with six suitcases. The driver meets you with a sign bearing your name, loads the luggage and drops you outside Le Chambard, rue du Général de Gaulle in Kaysersberg, about an hour later. Fixed price for the van: from €200. The same trip from Entzheim airport: from €200.

Colmar

Hotels in Colmar’s historic centre are about 75 km from Strasbourg. Part of the centre is pedestrian: the driver drops you as close to the hotel entrance as possible.

Eguisheim and the southern Wine Route

Outside the Wine Route: the Bruche valley

This hotel is not on the Wine Route but in the Bruche valley, west of Obernai. We serve it on the same terms.

From Basel-Mulhouse EuroAirport, Frankfurt or another airport

Hotels in Colmar and the Haut-Rhin are often closer to Basel-Mulhouse EuroAirport than to Strasbourg. We also do these transfers, as well as from Frankfurt, Zurich, Stuttgart and Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden: the price is on request. Send us your flight number, the hotel name, and the number of passengers and suitcases, and we will reply with a fixed price. See also our airport transfers.

How the transfer works

• When you book, tell us the hotel name, your flight number or train time, the number of passengers and suitcases, and whether you need child seats (on request; tell us the children’s ages).
• At the airport, we track your flight, so the driver knows if it is late. The driver waits in arrivals with a sign bearing your name.
• At Strasbourg station, the driver meets you with a sign bearing your name; give us the arrival time and train number.
• In the van: up to 8 passengers and 8 suitcases. A pushchair fits even with 8 passengers. Our drivers speak French, English and Arabic.
• At the hotel, the driver drops you at the entrance, or as close as possible if the street is pedestrian.
• The price is fixed and confirmed before you travel. Pay online by card, or in the vehicle.
• We work 24/7, including 24, 25 and 31 December: a late flight or a night train is not a problem.

Fewer than 4 people with little luggage? The sedan (up to 3 passengers) costs less: €2 per km in the daytime instead of €2.50. The calculator shows both prices. More than 8 people: several vehicles, on request.

Transfer plus a day of sightseeing

Your hotel is on the Wine Route, so make the most of the drive. Instead of going straight to the hotel, you can stop in Obernai for lunch, take a break in Riquewihr and reach Kaysersberg in the late afternoon. The driver stays with you and your luggage stays in the van: this is charged by the hour (€80 per hour for the van), on request.

For your departure, we take you from the hotel back to Strasbourg station or the airport. The calculator works out this price from the hotel address: it includes the driver’s journey from Strasbourg to the hotel, so it is higher than the outbound trip.
